A Berlin KPM porcelain figure of Paris as a shepherd
Model no. 357. Depicted standing in contrapposto on a triangular plinth, wearing a purple cloth lined with green around his waist and resting on a shepherd's crook. Blue sceptre mark to the back of the plinth, unglazed, hollow base with incised K mark. The right hand restored, an underglaze firing crack to the chest, the horns, ears, and legs of one goat reattached. H 26.2 cm.
Ca. 1770 - 1775, model attributed to Friedrich Elias Meyer, ca. 1765.
