A Berlin KPM porcelain krater vase with floral decor
Model no. 1005, “Medicis/Rhedensche Sorte, Nr. 1”. Fired in two parts and screw-mounted. Decorated all around with a band of naturalistically rendered dahlias, passion flowers, morning glories and other blooms. The upper rim with a gilt etched laurel border. Blue sceptre mark, brown imperial eagle mark, enamel blue circle. The shaft restored. H 30.7, D 22 cm.
