清中期 "大明成化年製“寄託款德化白瓷書卷觀音坐像
the figure depicted resting in a relaxed seated posture above an incised rocky pedestal base with two craggy stalagmites on either side supporting a bird and a vase, the reverse bearing an impressed apocryphal Chenghua six-character mark in a rectangular panel.
Height 10 1/2 in., 26.6 cm.
Asian Art
In overall good condition, with some minor firing imperfections including slight pitting at the rockery and marks at the back of the head. Inpainting to the vase and its base, with touches to the proper left hand.
