The dish painted in underglaze blue on the show side with a central character mark and three rows of dense stylized Sanskrit characters, the backside with a fan design and a mark on the underside.
DIAMETER 22.2 cm
Condition: Very good condition with traces of wear and only a minor chip to the foot rim.
Provenance: Holzapfel collection, Geneva, Switzerland. This lot was acquired by a third-generation member of the Holzapfel family after 1995 and has remained in the family ever since.
