of compressed form raised on three clawed feet, cast with two sinuous dragon forming the two handles, against a background of crashing waves, the domed, reticulated cover decorated with dense clouds, surmounted by a shishi lion-form finial, the underside bearing a five-character maker's mark in a rectangular panel, 山城 藤虎作。
