A finely cast twentieth century Dakini in bronze or possibly bronze/copper alloy. A Buddhist representation of spiritual liberation. The garland of skulls is called a mundamala. In tibetan and hindu iconography it represents the Wrathful aspects of shiva. The Sculpture measures 7.25 x 5.5 inches. Provenance: a private NJ collection.
