Red wool armband with black ribbed rayon tape borders, hand-applied with two stitches. Single shoulder board of black and aluminum twist aluminum cords, on black wool backing, hand-applied, retained with silver pebbled button. Right collar tab with Standarte number "5" hand-embroidered in silver-aluminum thread on black backing with black/aluminum twist cord piping, blank left rank tab on black cloth backing with piping in black/aluminum twist cord, both machine-applied. Cuff title of black band with blue 6-thread borders, numeral "5" machine-embroidered at centre in white thread, hand-applied. Left breast pocket with small, enameled NSDAP party badge marked "M1/128" and "RZM". Partial white cotton lining across upper back and waist, size stamps at neck.
