A Burmese bronze figure of Jamuphati Buddha, seated in padmasana on a stepped hourglass-shaped throne, the right hand in bhumisparsha mudra, the left hand in dhyana mudra above the feet, on his head a high crown with large ornamental flanges in openwork, long earrings and jewellery to chest and arms. The bronze with a black patina. 19th century.
