A Burmese sapphire and old-cut diamond cluster ring, with single-cut diamond shoulders.Verbal from GCS, stating Burma, no heat.Calculated sapphire weight 1.53cts, based on estimated dimensions of 7.5 by 5.3 by 4.1mms.Estimated total diamond weight 0.85ct, I-J colour, SI1-P1 clarity.Ring size R1/2. 3.7gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition fair to good.
Diamonds bright and well matched.
Sapphire is a bright, medium deep blue hue. Slight colour zoning.
Slight eye visible inclusions towards one end of the sapphire. Sapphire with abrasion to facet edges and minor nick.
Band replacement.
Claws re-tipped.
Estimated dimensions of ring head 1.4 by 1.2cms.
