A Byzantine bronze cross depicting Christ, c. 9th - 12th Century AD, the front half of a reliquary cross, the image of Christ is detailed in relief, the busts of saints or apostles below his hands and above his head. 3 1/8 in (8 cm). In nice condition with loops at either end for attachment to opposite half. Ex Barstow, California private collection.
