Rectangular form, red and black lacquered timber, constructed from hardwood and softwood (probably namwood and blackwood), five carved and gilt relief panels to back, each decorated with censor and two dragons, front legs and lower railing carved in stylised clouds with gilt accents, red and black lacquer, rear legs unadorned, together with a later custom seat cushion

Occasional loss to gilding, minor scratches, four of the supports below upper railing have been repaired/re-glued though appear original.
