of elongated hexafoil form, the cover carved with a group of boys engaged in various pursuits in a garden setting with a pavilion surrounded by jagged rocks and wutong, all reserved against a diaper grounds, the interiors and base lacquered black

Condition Report:
The box has an 1cm., wide area of flaking and repair to the edge of the foot and other shallow nibbles and chips to the foot and rim, the cover has a 2cm., wide area of chipping and loss to the lacquer at the rim with an associated vertical age crack, three further vertical hairline rim cracks and minor nibbles to the extremities of the lacquer.
