A CARVED MOTTLED GREY JADE 'THREE FRIENDS' TRIPLE VASE GROUP
17th century
Carved in the form of three conjoined, gnarled open trunks, with openwork relief pine, prunus and bamboo branches, a crane perched on a rocky outcrop, the reverse with a recumbent deer on a ledge, its head turned to the rear, the stone of soft grey-green hue with creamy mottling and dark grey inclusions.
15cm (5 7/8in) long.
