A CARVED WHITE JADE 'DRAGON' CENSER AND COVER.ANTIQUE
The compressed cylindrical body finely carved in shallow relief, divided by two elaborately pierced handles, each modelled as a dragon head with its wings gracefully outspread beside the horns, all resting gently on the broad mouth rim, supported on three cabriole legs emerged from lion heads, the domed cover similarly carved with taotie-masks, surmounted by a reticulated coiled dragon finial with three evenly divided circular loops, each suspending loose rings, the semi-translucent stone is of a pale celadon tone with russet and opaque inclusions.
