(A) CASED COLT MODEL 1849 POCKET PERCUSSION REVOLVER.

Manufactured in 1858, this revolver features all matching numbers, including the wedge.. The stagecoach scene on the cylinder is clear and prominent. Silver plated brass back strap and trigger guard and one piece varnished walnut grips. The pistol comes with a contemporary case and Colt marked straight leg bullet mold and powder flask. CONDITION: Traces of case colors are evident on the frame ,hammer and loading lever. The blued finish on the barrel and cylinder are a pleasing grey patina. One frame pin is sheared. The silver plate finish is nearly all intact with some thinning on the back strap. Grips have had varnish added. The bore has corrosion throughout.
