Six-shot, percussion cylinder with remains of engravings (pitting on the surface). Marked 'MASS. ARMS Co. / CHICOPEE FALLS' at the back, frame with floral engravings, the hammer on the right hand side featuring engravings, the plaque carved en suite featuring the cartouche marked 'WESSON'S & LEAVITTS PATENT'. Closing hook slightly loose. Wooden grip with brass back featuring remains of silvering, brass trigger guard with remains of silvering. Inside a wooden case provided with two tools.
