A CELADON GLAZED POTTERY EWER, TANG OR LIAO
China, Tang to Liao dynasty (618-1125). Finely modeled with a trumpet-shaped neck and an almost straight vertical spout, the neck and spout connected by an s-shaped vine. The glaze is of an even celadon color, the unglazed sections around the foot and interior revealing the greyish buff ware.
Condition: Intentional crackling, a minor repair to the handle, chipping to the lip repaired as well.
