A CELADON JADE ARCHAISTIC HANGING VASE AND COVER
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY

of rectangular section and archaistic you form, applied with a flange on each corner, the bulbous body rendered in relief on each side with a taotie mask, the neck flanked by a pair of loop handles interlinked with a long arched handle, the cover carved with a yinyang pendant supported by a stand detailed with stylised scrolls, the stone an even celadon colour

Condition Report:
One of the loop handles is restored, and the arched handle has a restored crack, both with traces of adhesive visible. There are some general wear to the surface and nicks to the extremities. The actual colour is of a more celadon tone than the catalogue illustration.
