China, late Qing dynasty / early Republic period. Celadon jade with light ochre colored inclusions, with smooth surface polish. Figural pendant with reticulation for suspension. Shown is a traditional Chinese symbol for fertility and prosperity – a charming Chinese boy holding on to a bag filled with treasures. The child is sitting inside a large lotus leaf.
Condition: Good condition with fine hand patina.
