A CHALCEDONY SHADOW AGATE 'SHOULAO' SNUFF BOTTLE
18th/19th century
With rounded square body, the translucent stone with dark inclusions cleverly carved to depict the sage Shoulao holding a tall staff beside a gnarled pine tree, carved coral 'bat and peaches' stopper.
