A CHARLES II OAK DRESSER BASECIRCA 166078cm high, 237cm wide, 45cm deepCondition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Various old splits and chips. Some later blocks to the interior if the carcass. Evidence of old worm in places throughout. Handles and escutcheons are replaced but in period taste.Two of drawers have locks, these are later additions. No key present, locks are open. Timber has a good rich/dark patina. Slight gap between the boards of the top. Glue residue is visible to the centre of the underside of the top. Some ring marks to top.Some old but later nails to top. Some old repairs.
