Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Old chips and splits. Handles are later replacements but in period taste. Some areas appear more cleaned and paler in colour.The underside of the top with glue residue along the join of the two planks of the top. Some movement between the top planks, with noticeable sinkage between two planks.Some loses to the moulding and one large, detached but present section in the drawer.Bead moulding to the lower edge of the frieze may be later associated.Later screw used to secure joint in one corner.The interior of the carcass and one drawer with later drawer runners.Evidence of old worm to undersides of drawers, interior of carcass, backboard, and rear legs.
