A CHINESE CORAL RED REVERSE PAINTED BOWL
Qing Dynasty period. Delicately potted, the exterior finely decorated in iron-red enamel with a row of peony flower heads alternating with smaller lotus flowers all borned on a meandering foliate scroll above a row of lotus blooms linked to the same scrolls, all reserved against a bright coral-coloured iron ground, the interior left undecorated, the base with a six-character reign mark in underglaze blue.
