Gao Qifeng (1889–1933), a late Qing dynasty painter, was known by his given name Weng and styled Qifeng. He hailed from Panyu County, Guangzhou Prefecture, Guangdong (now Guangzhou). Gao studied abroad in Japan and was a member of the Tongmenghui. He is linked artistically with his brother Gao Jianfu and Chen Shuren, forming the renowned trio "Two Gaos and One Chen" and being celebrated as one of the "Three Masters of Lingnan" and a founder of the Lingnan School of Painting. Gao Qifeng was known for his integrity and for promoting genuine artistry, leading in the art world.
