A CHINESE EXPORT BLUE AND WHITE BOTTLE VASE KANGXI PERIOD, CIRCA 1700

after a Venetian or Spanish glass form, the bulbous body and slender neck painted with flowers and foliage, the neck set on either side with two scrolled and pinched handles, wood stand, 2 pieces.
height 9 ½ in.

Condition Report:
The vase with a small rim chip, and a shallow flake chip to one of the lobes on one handle. Overall with typical firing imperfections of this type, including fritting to the extremities, especially at the raised band on the neck, and light surface wear.

Please note: this lot is accompanied with a stand made from Chinese hardwood, which, if exported, will require a CITES permit to leave the United States.
