A CHINESE GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE.
Qing Dynasty.
Of compressed pear-shaped form, carved in relief to depict two chi dragons clambering over the shoulders in their mouths a string which extends through a cash coin in the centre of the body on each face, the clear glass with a faint red hew, stopper, 5.5cm H.
Provenance: From a London private collection, of which many pieces were acquired from Robert Kleiner.
