A CHINESE IMPERIAL UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND IRON-RED 'DRAGON' DISH
SIX CHARACTER QIANLONG MARK AND OF THE PERIOD 1736-95
The shallow curved sides rising from a tapered foot to a slightly flared rim, decorated on the interior with a central roundel enclosing an iron-red dragon writhing amongst crashing blue waves, the underside similarly decorated with nine further dragons, all below a floret border to the rim, 17.5cm.
