The scepter is of typical tapering arched form, the end of the handle carved in shallow relief with Chinese inscriptions to the reverse, terminating in a large ruyi-shaped head which is carved with a Shou character surrounded by five Fu-bats The attractive stone with a fine polish and of an even pale tone highlighted in some minor areas with an enhanced russet skin.41.5 cm.
