A CHINESE SILHOUETTE AGATE ‘DRAGON’ SNUFF BOTTLE.
Qing Dynasty.
Of upright oval form, carved on both sides using dark brown inclusions to depict a dragon, the head emerging from one side of the bottle and body emerging from the reverse side, lapis lazuli stopper, 6.2cm H.
Provenance: From a London private collection, of which many pieces were acquired from Robert Kleiner.
