A CHINESE WUCAI 'DRAGON' VASE 19TH CENTURY The ovoid body brightly painted with two scaly dragons in flight over crashing waves, the mythical beasts divided by lotus sprays and stylised characters, with iron-red bands of floral motifs encircling the mouth and foot, the base with a four character Yongzheng mark, 23.5cm dia. Provenance: from the collection of Joseph Gordon (d.1969), Edinburgh, and thence by descent.
