The exterior elaborately and crisply carved with a wide band of four birds variously perched on rockwork and flying between leafy branches of blossoming peony and prunus, one holding a pomegranate in its beak, on a lozenge-panel ground, the slender stem with a similar band of leafy peony, the interior with a worn silver lining.
9cm (3 1/2in) diam.
