A CLOISONNÉ AND GILT ENAMEL CYLINDRICAL BOX AND COVER, QING
China, 19th century. The domed cover with a crane in a circular reserve surrounded by polychrome clouds with stylized crane heads, the sides of the cover with circumferential bats, the sides of the box with the same crane and cloud designs as on the top, flowers and leaves on the underside.
Condition: Good condition with old traces of use, minor pitting and wear to the gilt.
Provenance: From the collection of Alexander Popov in Novi Sad, Kingdom of Serbia, acquired between 1900-1920.
