A COLLECTION OF FIVE YELLOW-ENAMELLED VESSELS, 18TH-19TH CENTURY
The group is comprised of three tea caddies of square section and moulded on each rectangular side with a stylised shou character on a trellis ground, the covers similarly decorated; a cylindrical brush pot decorated with flowerheads in a trellis pattern; and a water dropper shaped as a bunch of lychee growing from a stem. All five pieces are covered on the exterior with a bright yellow glaze.
