Visionaire Magazine was founded by fashion industry insiders Stephen Gan, Cecilia Dean and James Kaliardos as an art publication merging fashion with contemporary art and design. Visionaire often collaborated with guest editors from the fashion industry, such as Louis Vuitton, Mario Testino, Karl Lagerfeld, Hermes, Fendi, and others to produce eclectic and eye-catching books celebrating high and low culture. Stephen Gan worked with Annie Flanders at Details, and she was an early supporter of and subscriber to the magazine.
