A COMPOSITE SOLID-BODY ELECTRIC GUITAR, PROTOTYPE #2 FOR THE JOHNNY MARR SIGNATURE JAGUAR
JOHNNY MARR, BILL PUPLETT AND FENDER MUSICAL INSTRUMENT CORPORATION, CIRCA 2010 AND EARLIER
The 'transitional' style logo Fender JAGUAR / DES. 186,826 PAT. 2,960,900 2,972,923 & PAT.PEND and OFFSET / Contour / Body at the headstock, the foot of the neck stamped 1MAR65B, the neckplate stamped V184906, the body of alder, the maple neck with Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and pearloid dot inlay, of 'Olympic White' finish, the headstock later customised with shamrock and "J" stickers, fitted with a tremolo bar, together with a Fender hardshell case bearing a label inscribed WHITE SIG. PROTO (PUPLITT), and a copy of the February 2012 issue of Guitarist magazine in which Marr and Puplett discuss the development of the Johnny Marr Signature Jaguar
