A COPPER ALLOY BRONZE FIGURE OF PRATISARA
Tibet or Nepal, 1900-1930. The copper alloy bronze figure of Pratisara with blue and red pigments along with a sealed off base with a double vajra. Seated in dhyanasana posture on a lotus pedestal, wearing a dhoti, detailed with ornaments. Pratisara with her four faces, showing a third eye (urna) and a stern facial expression, adorned with an elaborate diadem and her eight hands in different mudras, holding an arrow, a bow, a vajra, a lasso and other attributes.
Condition: Overall good condition with usual traces of age and wear and minor dents.
