A Canosan polychrome oenochoe with the fully sculptured
Oenochoe with a belly in the shape of a female head, resting on a broad base. The slender, white face looking straight ahead with a serious expression, the luxuriant brown hair fastened at the back and covered with a net-like, ornate head scarf. The high, narrow neck of the vessel with a parallel, raised handle, both with pink decorations. The complete vessel without any replacements or restorations. Intact. Height 36.5 cm.
An exquisite receptacle, rarely found in this quality.
