With recoloured octagonal sighted barrel engraved with a band of foliage around the muzzle and with scrolling foliage on each side of the breech, border engraved top-strap with retailer's name and address, bright cylinder with knurled forward edge and decorated with scrolling foliage, blued border engraved frame, bright trigger-guard and butt-cap all decorated en suite, patent double-trigger and detachable rammer, safety-stop, arbor-pin and catch, chequered rounded butt, and some original finish: in original lined and fitted mahogany case with accessories including James Dixon & Sons flask with split-ring for suspension, and brass bullet mould, the exterior of the lid with vacant circular brass escutcheon, London proof marks
