A Caucasian kinzal, dated 1908
Double-edged blade, offset fullers on both sides, European maker's mark "IOMA" (?) on the obverse. Silver handle with floral engraving, niello and decorative rivets. Wooden scabbard covered in leather with silver fittings engraved and nielloed on the obverse, leather renewed. On the reverse side signed with niello on three lines "sahib Abu Taleb | ibn Yakub Hadji" (the owner) and "amel Ahmed" (the maker) respectively, below the date "1326". Length 55 cm.
