A Charles II late 17th century unmarked silver scent or casting bottle, circa 1680 Of pilgrim flask form upon an oval collet foot. Twin ring attachments, one with a chain leading to a screw thread domed lid. The front with engraved decoration of a flaming heart pierced with an arrow, flanked by two arrows all above buildings, encircled and engraved Une Me Sufit (Old French; that’s enough for me). The obverse with a cherub within foliate scrolls, other edges with stylised leaves. Length – 6.7 cm / 2.55 inches Weight – 29 grams / 0.93 ozt
