A Charles II oak joint stool, circa 1680, the rectangular top with moulded edge, above the channel moulded frieze, on turned legs joined by a rectangular peripheral stretcher, 54cm high, 45cm wide, 27cm deep Provenance: Waystrode Manor, KentCondition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Various old chips, splits and losses. Wax/filler applied to split across top. Small filler of replacement timber to top. Slight movement between top and frieze. Other joins secure.
