A Chelsea Red Dragon pattern fluted circular saucer dish, painted in the Kakiemon palette with two ferocious Dragons in iron red, the centre with a Chrysanthemum blossom and green leaves, 12cm diam, stilt marks to verso, c. 1753
Condition Report: Chipped loss to rim. Some surface rubbing and light scratches from wear commensurate with age. Loss to footrim but standing well and stable. Contemporary firing stresses, pitting, etc.
