Of bulbous form supported on a high foot with raised band, rising to a straight neck with flaring rim with a flared rim, the handles in the form of archaistic beasts, the base recessed and glazed. Period: 18th/19th century. Height: 20 cm.

Wladimir Simon Semcesen (1906‑1969) born in Austria Hungary, settled in Oslo, Norway in 1936. In the 1950’s and 1960’s before the Cultural Revolution in China, he acquired works of art in China that he brought back to Europe.
