of baluster form in rectangular section, rising from a straight foot to curved shoulders flanked by mock molded handles, the short neck opening to an even mouth surmounted by a jade topped hardwood cover suggestive of bronze. Enameled in emerald green against black with radiant lotus heads borne from scrollwork, all supported on a hardwood stand.
Height of jar 9 in., 23 cm.
