Cast in bronze, the vessel is formed as a composite creature with deer body and antlers, avian head spout and additional beast mask ornamentation. The exterior wall of the cup is decorated with repeating squared spiral geometric patterns. Traces of green patina overlay the reddish bronze surface. The vessel stands on four modelled animal legs.
