A Chinese Buddhist Tara bronze statuette, 19th - early 20th c. The female figure Tara in typical seated pose on a bronze lotus base. Hollow casting and cold reworked. Decorated with small, cut, coloured glass stones, some of which are lost due to age. The base closed with a copper plate. Intact. Height 22 cm. Provenance: From the estate of a German private collection. Acquired in the 1st half and middle of the 20th century in Asia.Condition: II
