A Chinese Celadon Censer
Of round form with slightly everted rim raised on three feet, covered in a dark green glaze, the body with the design of the eight trigrams, the interior and base left unglazed to reveal a reddish body, together with two similar censers. Period: Ming. Diameter: 13 - 15 cm.

Wladimir Simon Semcesen (1906‑1969) born in Austria Hungary, settled in Oslo, Norway in 1936. In the 1950’s and 1960’s before the Cultural Revolution in China, he acquired works of art in China that he brought back to Europe.
