A Chinese Export porcelain partial tea and coffee service, late 18th / early 19th century

Including two teapots, a tea caddy, two helmet-form creamers, two sugar bowls (one having lid), two waste bowls, one bowl, ten coffee cups with eleven saucers, ten tea bowls with eleven saucers, four large shallow bowls, one medium saucer, two plates and a small plate, each decorated with lavender and green floral border and reserve with the initial “L.”

Condition Report: lot 57: overall some items show some signs of possibly being re-baked, with some inconsistency / discoloration to glaze; large bowl: with extensive repaired breaks and retouching evident; covered sugar 1: with some small chips to rim of lid, chip to rim of body, small hairline to rim, general loss to enamel and gilding (including to monogram), with spidering firing crack to interior / underside, and with some discoloration to glaze visible to interior bottom / underside; sugar dish 2: missing lid, two chips to rim, loss to enamel / gilding, discoloration to glaze to interior bottom and underside; teapot 1: with some discoloration to glaze to interior / underside, but otherwise only minor loss to gilding; teapot 2: minor knicks to rim, some loss to gilding / enamel, discoloration to glaze to interior bottom / underside; tea caddy: missing lid, with small area of retouch to gilding along upper edge; creamer 1: with loss to gilding / enamel; creamer 2: handle is broken / detached (but present), some loss to enamel and gilding; dish: small knick / chip to rim; two small plates: one with knick / chip to rim; small bowl 2: with a few hairlines and chips to upper and lower rim, loss to enamel and gilding; one saucer: with hairling / knick to rim; another saucer: with chip / hairline to rim, and has slightly convex bottom (rocks); one teacup with restored handle (reattached / pinned and with overpainting evident); another teacup with firing chip to underside of base; one teabowl: with a few chips to rim; cup plate: with restored break and overpainting evident to side; the cups and saucers generally ok, with occasional loss to enamel and gilding commensurate with age
