A Chinese Natural Jadeite Jade Buddha's Hand Citron Pendant with Interlocking Chain, 77AS
This hand-carved pendant is crafted from natural jadeite jade, measuring 4.7cm x 3cm. The stone features a translucent pale milky base softly infused with patches of vivid emerald green, exhibiting a fine crystalline texture and glossy polished finish. Sculpted in the form of Buddha's hand citron, the carving details segmented finger-like lobes with defined linear veinwork. A cleverly integrated freely moving interlocking ring is carved from the same block of jadeite at the upper neck, functioning as the suspension element. In Chinese symbolic tradition, Buddha's hand citron represents happiness, longevity and abundant blessings. The intricate openwork carving and smooth rounded surfaces highlight the natural translucency, colour variation and lustre of the jadeite.
