This hand-carved pendant is crafted from natural jadeite jade, measuring 4cm x 2.8cm. The stone features a pale milky translucent base accented with vivid emerald green splashes toward the lower section, finished with a smooth glossy polish. Sculpted in the form of a Chinese cabbage with layered folded leaves and fine incised vein detailing, the pendant is topped with an arched bail fitted with a freely moving interlocking ring carved from the same jadeite. In Chinese folk symbolism, the cabbage motif evokes wealth and abundant fortune. The organic flowing carving and artful movable interlocking ring highlight the striking colour contrast and natural lustre of the jadeite.
